Since arriving in New York City a little over four years ago, bassist/composer Matt Wigton has managed to carve out his niche in the massive and highly creative music scene. He is a member of The Suite Unraveling, Zach Brock and the Coffee Achievers, Arrival/Departure, The Danny Ross Band, The Tuey Connell Band, Dave Levy's "Out to Lunch", and The Deadra Hart Band. He was a member of the NYC based indie rock band, Elizabeth and the Catapult, for 4 years and as also worked with a variety of other bands and songwriters in the area since his arrival. He has recorded on Grammy-nominated records, recorded for television and film, been featured in Billboard Magazine, and done countless showcases for Atlantic, Sony, Universal, and Blue Note record labels. He has worked with such notable names as Bill McHenry, Steve Cardenas, Ben Monder, Michael Nyman, Jim Ridl, Brad Turner, David Braid and has extensively toured throughout the United States, Canada, and South America.
